The violin is watercolored so you can still see dictionary page behind. The striped paper had teal blotches on it to begin with, so I crinkled up some plastic wrap and added some TH distress ink on the image panel to compliment the striped paper. I added music sheet embossing on BG paper.

Great looking card, Barb. I like how you perfectly matched the teal distressing on your printed panel and a smart move to watercolor the violin so the print still showed through.

What a lovely guy card this would make. ...or obviously for anyone who loved music. I really appreciate all the attention to detail shown in your card. Makes it especially nice!

This is fabulous! Love the image. I think adding more blue with plastic wrap was a wonderful idea. I didn't even see that music box - you chose a great inspiration picture and your card is lovely! Hugz!

Barb what a gorgeous card... love the musical ef used for the bg, the layout and the way the script shows through the violin... you have done a magnificent job of this... love how you kept it very vintage also with the sponging. well done...
