I love creating scenes with fussy-cutting images apart and putting them back together again in 3D!
The weathered wood background was stamped on Natural White CS in Basic Gray--and not stamped too well. I wasn't concerned about the missing details because it added to the weathered look. T
Then I used the DTP (direct to paper) technique with Coastal Cabana, Wild Wasabi and Smoky Slate ink pads--kept playing with the Hardwood stamped image until I got a mix I liked. (This is my first and only try--don't be too quick to throw it away when using the DTP technique.)
To finish the wood look, I used my Scoring Tool to add score lines to the Hardwood image--giving more depth and texture.
I finished the card with cutting and dimensionals to make the window scene 3D. The curtains were stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder to give a sheer look.

Oh my goodness. Your wood background is fantastic. You captured the perfect look to represent Julie's challenge and I love how you used that sweet Su set to create your window. What a wonderful card. Thanks so much for playing in my challenge.
