For Lee Ann's second DTGD challenge I pulled out some really old supplies. Makes me smile to see shimmer sheets in again - I've had mine so long I've given most of them away, but I managed to find a blue sheet to make my butterfly. The copper card base is just about as old, too.
I used Heat 'n' Stick with my gilding flakes. Seriously, why did nobody ever tell me how good this stuff is! Cut a window in the card front and laid my Print Pattern panel behind it. Embossed the border, blinged it up and added my shimmer and vellum butterfly.
And took about ten photos of which this is the best, but it's prettier IRL.

ooh I would have told you if I had known you needed to know... that is the only thing that worked for me for dry glitters ever. ( the glue pads are a bad joke and waste of money ( all brands) This has such amazing colors and textures Sabrina

OH my goodness, Sabrina; I do not know which is prettier, the background or the butterfly! Love all of the elements you have combined. I need to get my sticky powder out again. I was not having any luck with it but you have had amazing results!
