Flowers and Swirls

Photo Details

I used a sizzix die that I have had forever. It is huge and even on a 6x6 card I had to cut it down. I punched my flowers with three sizes of a Punch Bunch punch. My flower centers are circles, and I used a stylus to round out. My little dots across the bottom were made the same way to match. My sentiment is on a SU banner die(which is lost somewhere in my room) I used another pre-embossed card to make this and the corner dies from Spellbinder.

Holy Moly! You are amazing with dies, Peggy! I have not seen work with them like yours! This is incredible! In fact that adjective is just too weak for this. The beautiful paper underneath just enhances it that much more. The flowers are exquisite! Those punch bunch punches are hard to use, requiring a foot or a hammer too! Love the patterned paper on those. You really are an amazing designer!

I love how beautifully you get papers to work with your dies - I must have a go! This is fabulous Peggy!

Wow! This is elegance at its best, Peggy! What a stunning creation! Love that your flowers and your mat behind the Spellbinders corners are matching dp. Just a thing of beauty! Thanks so much for playing along!

Such soft and beautiful colors Peggy. Love the cover die - very intricate. Your blossoms have so much dimension - so pretty!

Oh, Peggy, what a gorgeous card! I love that large die! It's so beautiful, and I love the diagonal layout with your beautiful floral spray! How ingenious to use circles as little faux brads! Must try that!! And finally I love the soft colors! Thanks for sharing another beauty, Peggy! Hugs, sweet friend!

Peggy, this card looks as soft as a handmade quilt. Have you ever felt the soft quilted cottons? The vintage floral paper on your card reminds me of that type of material - just beautiful.

WOW! Love your background with the matching print flowers and flourish. The die is so pretty - allowing the pretty print to show through. So very elegant and feminine. Pinned and fav'd!

Oh my!!!!! This is one gloriously stunning card, I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY!!!!! I love, love, LOVE this die, I'd love to know what it is called... And the beautiful DP you've used underneath to peek through the lacy openings is WONDERFUL!!! Ingenious to use some of that same paper on top to create the flourishes, and to use it when forming some flowers too. You have totally taken my breath away!!!

This is already in my favorites, I HAD to have access to this card to study it more and learn from it. WOW, what artistry, what talent!!!

What I admire in your card-making, is your ability to do so many different styles, and you do each SO WELL!!!

Still totally BLOWN AWAY!!! Amazing detail and artistic design is just inspired!!!

WOW!!!!!!!

Joanne

Totally awe-inspiring. Perhaps some day I'll be able to make flowers that are this gorgeous -- I think I'll need another 50 years of practice! I don't have the patience to work on things this small but if I knew I could make a card that looked like this, I might develop it.....
