I started some faux barnboard with scraps the other day for the mix79 challenge to mix glue with paint. It took so long to dry, I had to set it aside. It makes a great background for my cups. I stamped the cups image from MFP set called OH BEANS, on to an encyclopedia page. I then took my SU itty bitty background stamp and using white paint, I added the "splatters" around the cups. I paper pieced the cups. I took a white prisma colored pencil and added highlights on the cups. I think this was a fun way to use up some scraps. Oh I also got dessert in by making cups my focal point instead of flowers. I usually only decorate the outsides of my cards. The insides are 99% of the time blank with nothing there. I decided to go over the top and really decorate the inside as well because card is going to my stamping friend Pam.

I love this! Course I love anything that has to do with coffee -- this is so pretty!
