Karen have given us four colors to work with today; Cobbler, Wasabi, Daffodil and Cabana and the dessert is something other than flowers or sentiment as the focal point.
The dots on the newsprint were done with a pencil eraser and I burned a couple of letters over the flaming cake.
Hope you come play the challenge today and thanks for taking a look.

That little guy reminds me of our children when they were small, and it didn't really have to be a birthday! Cake-->Fork-->Running! I love your multi-colored dots. I need to remember that trick, because it's quite effective. This whole card is really wonderful! Love it!

The details you have put into this card are so well thought out, Becky! How clever to have the letters above the candles look burned! I also love the way you used the colors in your card. Such great balance.

Oh, Becky! This is really a fun card! I love every detail, and I especially got a chuckle after I had to re-read the "burned a couple of letters" over the cake! LOL! So cute, and I just love it! Someone is absolutely going to cherish this one! Into my faves! Hugs, sweet friend!

Love how you did your dots on the newsprint, Becky. Clever YOU! : ) Your cute card is a departure from the "pretty" cards that you usually do, but it shows that you can do ANY style with ease and talent.
