This is for Betty's DTGD challenge. I had great fun with this .
I embossed the vellum with a spotted snow embossing folder (Sizzix), and then added my snowman, made from die-cutting circles of felt, punched dots for the eyes and buttons, and a hat cut from scraps. The arms are actually deer antlers since I had the deer die out the other day and my twig die was out of scale, and I added a tiny blue bird.
I laid some sequins over it and then stitched a layer of embossed acetate over the top. Finished it off by matting onto the base. I didn't think it would actually shake, since it's not really a full-blown shaker card, but those sequins move around!!

Fabulous! I love the two layers of embossing and how the transparency of the materials keeps it from overwhelming! Too cute!

Sabrina, this is wonderful! Love how you incorporated these elements into a Christmas card! Adorable snowman and I just love the sparkle and texture! Thanks so much for playing along with my Dare to Get Dirty Challenge!

Oh my gosh, this is awesome! I LOVE your snowman and the sequins! What a fabulous idea for the snowflakes - emboss them on acetate! Wish I would have thought of that........ I'll be casing that idea for sure!!
