For Bridget's DTGD challenge. I still have a discard on my desk so that will appear later! I combined this with Joan's fun Faux Block Image challenge for today.
I created my block by cutting a mask with a square die. Then I stamped the flowers and leaves with plenty of masking. Sponged the background, stamped the sentiment and removed all the masking. Coloured the flowers with pencils and added some Stickles to the flower stamens which, despite some lovely sunshine (after 2 days of HEAVY rain) you can't really see. Drew the line borders and cut it out.
Base layer - scraped some blue chalk dust over the base and sponged it in. Sponged the leaves with a nearly dead sponge dauber - I nearly added more sponge than ink! Sponged round the edges with Antique Linen and then some yellow to brighten it. Added chunky white EP and this seemed to call for the lightness of a seam binding ribbon so I added that too. Image popped up on foam.
I think, unless I make anything better this week - this will be for my MIL who turns 89 the day after DTGD ends!

Just beautiful, Sabrina. Until I read, I thought your chunky ep was Frantage.
