This card was made possible by two lovely ladies one (Sylvia, Silly Filly here on Splitcoast) who sent me die cuts and the other (Vickie Aust) who sent some embossed paper with the new EF's she had just received! The two seemed to fit together perfectly! Thank you ladies! I have been hoarding this beautiful vellum FOREVER and when I saw Gold for a challenge I decided it needed to be used. It and the gold base are both cut with the Memory Box butterfly. I added Gold Krylon pen around the edges. I am sure a lot of you can relate...the border got wider and wider as I tried to even it out! :-) I used my bone folder to give the butterfly wings some dimension. Last I added some pearls for interest. Sorry I do not know the name of the EF but I do know the die cuts are Marianne Design. The sentiment will be on the inside of this one.
Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

Right into favorites! Holy Smokes! Just when I thought your cards could not possibly get better, you design another one that just knocks my socks off! This is amazing and the krylon pen edging is beautifully done! That alone is amazing! If I ever get to California I DO want lessons in designing with embossing folders and die cuts!

I LOVE your card! It is BEAUTIfUL! Could you tell me if your friend knows the name of the embossing folder in the background? I just can't seem to find it anywhere! It is so pretty!

Oh, Peggy, this is gorgeous! I love the dies and how beautifully you've placed them and that stunning butterfly!! Wow, that's the piece de resistance!! Oh, I can relate to the "wider" border - truly!! It happens, but it all worked together perfectly!! I think a thinner one probably would have been a little lost. I think! I love it, especially with the added pearls to complete it! Hugs, sweet friend!!
