OK, I goofed. I found this neat technique by Jennifer Rzasas and now I can't find it...who was the dumb-dumb that closed that window!!!
Anyway, you take a die cut and emboss it on heavy watercolor paper...it actually looks like an Embossing Folder. Then, you take watercolor markers...in my case, I used Ranger Distress Inks and outline it. Not one to leave well enough alone, I added color. You are "supposed to" outline the die cut and then with a watercolor brush and water, "Pull" the color into the image. It was too light to suit me so I had to add that extra. Please note, these die cuts ARE NOT cut out..they are embedded into the paper. I added a stencil by Tim Holtz and some doodling and decided to stop!!! I need more practice, but I do like it and it was an easy technique. Sorry I lost the link.

Hey good job on your new technique. Love how you added all the pretty colors, stands out so nice over the white bg. Looks fun will have to try that...TFS..:0)

This is wonderful, Vicky! I've used this method in the past, but never with ink, just plain. I don't know why it didn't occur to me to use some form of color - duh!
