I made this for the Tuesday color challenge. I came as close to the colors as I could. The outside edge is a darker turquoise, with a lacey embossed ivory over top of it. The lattice is actually a paler turquoise, it just doesn't show well in the pic. The center tag is ivory stamped in sage shadow that I went over with a blue pencil trying to achieve the correct color. My bird was colored with spectrum noir markers, then fussy cut with scissors and a little work with an exacto knife. The flowers were made with 3 layers of the negative from the lattice die with little gems added to the center. I used the fork method to make my bow. I really enjoyed this challenge. When I first colored my bird and flowers in these colors, I thought- No Way am I going to like this. After I got it finished thought I really like the outcome.
Thanks for taking a peek!

How lovely, not only your beautifully colored bird on the flowery branch, but the exquisite lattice work die cut that surrounds it. The tiny rhinestone-centered flowers are such a pretty accent.
