This is for the Perfect Paper Crafting and Avery Elle blog hop - find more info on my blog post here.
I used the Petals and Stems from Avery Elle and the Petals and Stems Elle-ments die set makes it so easy to cut out the shapes. The set has a variety of flower and leaf sizes, I used three of each for this card, envelope and insert and also added some of the accent images on the insert and envelope. It also has a variety of sentiments to choose from. It's a fun set to play with!
I use a stamp positioner and re-stamped the solid images until they are dark enough to suit me. I then added some shading with Prismacolor pencils.
The 1/8" border was cut using the Perfect Layers Mini ruler on the Perfect Cutting Mat from Perfect Paper Crafting. These tools along with the Perfect Ruler are on my work table at all times and they're used for nearly every card I design, such handy tools and the simple border really dresses up the card and makes cutting such a simple task.

LOVE this vibrant card!!! Your color choices work so well against that black and white checked pattern! I love how your leaves continue out of the rectangle, I think that looks so neat. Love the shading on that red flower, it's really well-done!!
