ItÂ’s been a while since IÂ’ve played in any challenges and I decided to give this one a go. I found this printed towel- http://www.leifshop.com/collections/...tany-tea-towel
- which I thought would be a relatively gentle inspiration to ease myself back into my stamping chair. I picked this image because the open leafy areas had a resemblance to the ones on the towel, and I stamped it in Pacific Point ink. I added the number stamp too.
But now, what to do?
I tried adding some definition with the blue ink and a blender penÂ…Â…Â… and then got lost in a colouring time warp and much, much later I had created this. While it may not look anything like the original inspiration piece, it sure did inspire me to start colouring again. My muse then directed me to pull out the French Foliage set to finish off the panel. Ink colours include Mossy Meadow, Strawberry Slush, Blackberry Bliss and a smidgen of Pink Passion
