I forgot about these wooden chalkboard tags I found in Michaels' $1 bin (I think they were $2 for a set of 6, all different shapes) - perfect little canvases for Lydia's Dare To Get Dirty challenge today, and a perfect little project for an upcoming tutorial! So fun. This is a new Power Poppy image colored with a single Prismacolor pencil.
Dare To Get Dirty is a week of challenges, chatter, stamping and prizes especially for our Fan Club members! We hope you'll join the fun!

This is wonderful, Dina! I love the white shading...such a great look. You just reminded me of some chalkboard card stock I bought at Michael's. Hmmm...

I remember my absolute favorite thing about my drawing class in college was when we got to work on dark paper with white - I love the look of it. This is SUCH a perfect image and technique for this challenge! LOVE that you did it on a tag!
