Congrat's to this week's Featured Stamper, Heidi Tekunoff, aka Stamptek - a beautiful gallery, HERE is the lovely watercolor card I chose. Originally I was going to cut the watercolor panel and add it to a white panel as Heidi did, but I ended up taking the watercolor wash upwards, adding some extra sponging and spritzing. I also made a change with landscape orientation instead of portrait, and adding the gems randomly instead of as flower centers. The poppies have been masked and stamped three times across the bottom, in Versafine Black Onyx ink, on watercolor paper - Versafine works well because it's waterproof and doesn't run. If you haven't tried this type of watercoloring before, you should give it a go - it's impossible to mess up! I sprayed the whole panel with water before brushing in the ink loosely, then let it partially dry before adding in more ink.

This is a work of art, I love your sponging at the top and how you've added gems randomly--really a neat effect. GORGEOUS coloring!!! I haven't tried watercoloring, you've inspired me to check it out.
As always your cards inspire me, and I learn from them--how I appreciate this. This is going into my favorites.
