I'm starting to believe that there is logic in the actual 'planning' of a card, BEFORE you spend 7 hours messing around and trying to figure out how to fill the holes or panic over placement. The only thing I had figured out at the beginning was the paper piecing and the doll. I used a Bo Bunny pack called the "Prairie Chic Collection" and the doll, dress and tag was finished in less than an hour. The next 6 hours were spent trying and discarding flower arrangements, pouring over pinterest and google, and praying to the Lord to give me patience...because if He gave me strength, He was going to have to come up with bail money, too.
Alright. That's actually another stamp sentiment from Rubbernecker that came yesterday. I'm so tired I'm ripping off material.
I promise to catch up this weekend and detail everything on the blawg. Thanks so much for the challenge, Birgit...you are AMAZING!! Keep making me step up my game for DTBD!

OMGosh...Carmen..totally AMAZING tag! Love the girl, her skirt is awesome (it's like she wearing a whole shabby chic garden), the purse, the bling on the purse, the bling in the hair ,the necklace... and that sentiment had me chuckling..oh and I forgot the fabulous lace edging...I'm in awe of your patience..7 hours is a long time..glad you don't need bail money.

Carmen, this is AMAZING! If I got the tag and doll done in an hour that alone would be a miracle! The elements on here are fabulous! I love the way you have the purse on her shoulder. The details are mind boggling! Thanks again for another good chuckle in your description!

That sentiment is soooo true (but we sit on our back porch 'round here - so the neighbors don't gawk too much you know). Love your doll, her matching dress and purse, and the things you did to this for the other 7 hours you spent making it. Love to hear your creation stores. Into my faves of course. Hugz!
