I was "playing stamps" today with two of my stamping buddies! After a quick tour of Hobby Lobby, JoAnne's and our local stamp store, Stamp Thyme, we buckled down for some stamping! This is the first card I made today. The background paper is from Basic Grey. The photo is a vintage photo that I smudged with Tim Holtz distress ink, Tattered Rose, and the Happy stamp was stamped with glue ink and glitter applied. I went around the word happy with a white opaque marker to help it stand out. Happy is what we were today in the world of stamps!

The colors in this are fantastic! Actually, I *LOVE* everything in your gallery -- This is a style that I have only tried once or twice and never seem to get it right but your work is just FABULOUS!

I love everything about this card, really shows off your artistic eye ... Don't you just love stamp store road trips? I have one planned for May 5th and I can't wait, a friend and I have mapped out the whole day traveling to stamp stores.
