![](/forums/customavatars/avatar404180_1.gif) | | Created this card for a friend who loves the color peach! Mixed ripe persimmon and worn lipstick distress ink on an acrylic block until I found the color I liked. Then I used a mini blending tool to blend the color on to my cardstock over the chevron stencil. I originally intended to use the peach color over the entire stencil but as I went I realized that I like the faded look better. Then I went over the stencil with translucent embossing paste to get some texture. The stencil had open chevrons in the design...after the paste dried completely I decided that I wanted to add a little something extra so I added the sequins into the open chevrons. Finally I stamped the sentiment and embossed it. I used dimensional mounting tape to attach the sentiment so it wouldn't mess up the sequins. Then I framed it with the black cardstock and mounted it onto a white card. |
