hi there,
Here is my card for the IC challenge today inspired by the Country Curtain site and these curtains: http://www.countrycurtains.com/produ...e=&from=Search
I began by stamping the gate with grey Memento ink for the bkg. For the die cut hollyhocks I rubbed Distress blue inks onto my non-stick craft sheet, sprayed with water and ran my paper through the wet ink. When dry, I die cut the flowers and glued them against the gate. It really reminded me of an English garden.
thanks for looking,

p.s. The colour of the twine is blue but for some reason would not photograph blue.

I love that fence behind the hollyhocks...perfection. Also love how you added depth to the flowers with your ink and water spray. Beautiful as always, Karen!

Very bright and serene ... love your flowers against the iron fence and the bow on top. Very nicely done!

Karen, this is a real beauty. Love the flowers and your fence. The fence color makes it look like there is fog which softens the look and really makes the flowers stand out.
