I have a box filled with failures. All sorts of water colored, painted, melted crayon and stenciled pieces that weren't good enough to use as full back grounds, but I liked parts of them and thought maybe someday I could use pieces for tags or butterflies or ???? Well that day is today. I pulled a bunch of fall colored pieces and cut them into squares with SB/Classic square die. Ran a piece of white cardstock through my xyron (which I use about twice a yr.), attached the squares and then cut with SB/pumpkin die. Ran a dark brown alcohol pen around the outer edge to add some definition. The stem is SB/Swirls and the sentiment is TL/sentiments 2014. Added sequins to the mat and adhered to white card base. So many times I was tempted to throw all these failures out - so glad I didn't. Never thought of using them for patchwork.

Fantastic card Priscilla, I love it all. I'm like you I keep all my rejects and misfits. Looking at your wonderful happy card has inspired me to revisit all my scraps.

SO clever! All those pieces work beautifully together the way you have used them!

Beautiful! I remember we had a beautiful patchwork pumpkin pillow when I was young, and your card immediately brought that to mind. So glad you had fun with this challenge, and I hope you'll keep thinking patches in your future flopportunities! Thanks so much for playing my Mix-Ability challenge!
