This background was a complete experiment... I started by spritzing Smooch Spritz on a piece of clay-coated cardstock. I dropped 3 colors of ink into the pearl spray and moved them around with my fingers a little... while they were still wet I spritzed alcohol on them to see what would happen, then spritzed water around the edges to let the colors bleed out more. I wanted to try a salt technique and sprinkled some on the wet areas - but then didn't have the patience to let it dry fully, so I abandoned that idea and hit it with my heat gun instead. The salt made dark areas instead of pulling color away - not sure if that was because of the clay coating or the time factor.
When everything was dry, I embossed the panel and added Old Silver Inka Gold to the ridges of the embossed pattern.

Beautiful color combination - I love the effects that the two different solvents had on your ink. Your light hand with the Inca Gold is just dreamy...I wish that all of my experiments turned out so well!
