Whew I finally made it to the teaparty for little Grace from Kentucky. Sheri gave us a fun challenge to bring some birthday cheer to this sweet little four year old girl with serious health problems.
This looks a bit sparse for a pop up card. Initially I had some birthday candles popping up but then I realised there is no way it is going to make it to Kentucky by the 19th, so I whipped off the candles and added a couple of feathers, now it is more a thinking of you card.
The papers I have used are about twice as old as Grace LOL. They are the last of my favourite bright happy papers by Kaisercraft. The letters were cut from equally old papers by October Afternoon (I thonk)I would love to put some glitter on this but I only have slow drying glitter glue and I want to get this is the post before the weekend.
I have had a very ‘uneventful’ week (meaning I didn’t break, burn or damage anything). That may well change this weekend as I finally bought a Gelli plate!!
Thank you for looking and have a great week everyone.

This is so fun! Love the feathers - they are Wow feathers and perfect for this box. Love the decisions you made so you could get this in the post because they made this even better I think. Glad you had a safe week but can't wait to hear about the Gelli plate which I want to get too. Wonderful stuff and perfect for a little girl! Hugz!

Hmmm! A gelli plate...the damage I see you inflicting on yourself is where it says on your passport "skin colour" you may have to revise this but at least you won't have to increase your home insurance policy. This is so perfect for Grace I'm sure it will keep her entertained for hours.

What a FUN card for such a special little girl! I'm sure she will love the fact that it raises up to stand and the pink butterflies and it's personalized. Yah, I can just see that sweet smile of hers. :)

This is gorgeous and super-fun, Susie. I'm thinking mine isn't going to make it by the 19th either since I'm only mailing it tomorrow, we can be fashionably late together. The feathers will really tickle her ;-).
