Making masculine cards are extremely difficult for me! A few weeks ago Mrs. Noofy posted this awesome one layer card and when I needed to make a Thank You card for my son Jason her wonderful design inspired this card. Here is a link to it:
I had some lovely dp that had an appearance of being sponged and I then just pulled some solids to go with it. I cut the Memory Box Fern in the same chocolate brown paper. Thank you Sue for coming to the rescue on this one! I actually was very happy with my results.
Thank You for stopping by to take a peek!

First, Sue's (Mrs. Noofy) card is a wonderful one layer design with it's botanical theme. Your CASE of Sue's card is top notch! In fact, if I didn't know better I would have thought you had used a splatter technique rather than a designer paper with the speckles already there. The card has a very tailored appeal to it and would be beautiful in a boxed set. Peggy, think about creating this design in a set of 4 (4x4) cards. Tie some raffia ribbon around the box and present it as a hostess or birthday gift. Don't sell yourself short - tailored and masculine design are right up your alley!
