 | | Today's Mix challenge is to have a repeating item, or a parade of items. Gotcha covered! A row of pennants, a background of stars & a heart full of stars & stripes. And since it's a MIX challenge, I have distress inks, embossing, embossing resist & some sequins thrown in.
For my patriotic card, I white embossed both of the stars & stripes hearts & used distress inks to sponge over the embossing, then die cut them. The red star was a leftover I cut on my Cricut. The patriotic pennants were die cut and w/ the die still in place, I stamped the stars & stripes pennants. The stamps are clear, so it's easy to see where to stamp. The large pennant in the corner was also die cut. I used the A2 matting basics dies to cut the frame. The star bg inside the frame was made using the stormy sky ink & embossing folder stamping.
Thanks so much for looking! Have a great 4th of July weekend! It's just been posted on my blog: The Write Stuff |
