This week Peggy is our hostess, and she has given us a wonderful color chalenge: Hello Honey, Night of Navy and Sahara Sand, with a dessert option to add texture to our cards.
I had to substitute Crushed Curry instead of Hello Honey, but I really like this combination, too. No dessert for me on this one, so sad . . . ☺
I pulled out a lot of oldies for this one, starting with a design from Andrea Walford from five years ago, to make a Post-It Note holder. I used a really old Sizzlits set from SU! called Birds and Blossoms. Then I used a trick from Dawn Olchefske to make the scalloped frame.

daisydoit, you start with a strip of Night of Navy cardstock 7-15/16" x 3-3/4". Score it at 3-13/16" in from each side.
This should leave 5/16" between the 2 score lines. This makes the base of your book cover. The 4" coasters are each covered with a 6" square of DS paper, and adhered to the front and back covers and decorated. You can see the Night of Navy just behind the Post-It note pad. Thanks for your sweet comment!
