On Friday, the MIX73 Challenge got me singing Billy Preston's "Will it Go 'Round in Circles"... I wanted to put a bird up in the sky, but everything I tried looked too much like Sabrina's card, so I tossed my circles aside. Then this morning, I saw Sabrina's TLC and thought I'd just go for it. I glued a piece yogurt foil to some cardstock, dropped on some alcohol inks and die cut my bird. Next came the tricky task of applying versamark, clear EP and heat embossing.... it was challenging, but I like the end result. I'll try the faux enamel technique again, but next time I'll choose a larger die cut to work with. LOL
Thanks for the inspiration and challenges, Sabrina!!!

I'm glad you "just went for it", Hilda - this is so bright and happy. I'm just about to take an early bed here with a headache, but I'm really glad I got to see this first. I don't think it's much like mine at all - sure, it's got a bird and circles but that's it. I love your text background, and the circle with the birds on the wire - makes me think of the moon!! I love your little happy blue bird and the sentiment, too.
With a small punch/shape, what I often do is stick a little bit of light cardstock to the back of it - say a couple of inches long and about 1/4" wide. Think of an icecream on a stick! Then you can press the whole thing into ink and EP and lift it up by the "stick" of card, and you can cover the whole thing in one go.

This is so well done that I thought it was patterned paper! Your script, stamps and perfectly arranged circles are fabulous along with your bright but soft colors! Fantastic job on this challenge!
