This is so neat. Is it in the caddy or do you use a template to make it? I would love a copy of the template if that is how you did it. If you do would you please PM me?
I absolutely love it, to cute!!!!!! And also a wonderful keepsake!

I don't know if it is an explosion card or not. It takes four sheets of 12x12 paper.
You score the first one four inches from all sides and cut out the corner squares making a "cross" shape.
Second sheet cut to 11x11 and score on all sides at3-3/4" and third sheet to 10x10 and score at 3-1/2", again cutting the corners out of these sheets as well.
Now you should have three layering "crosses."
I used the squares of paper from the cut out corners as mats for the pictures.
The final sheet is for the lid. Cut it to 8x8 and score from each side at 1-7/8. Instead of cutting the cormers out, just slice one side. Now it can be folded into the lid.
Two tips: Fold the paper on the scores back and forth for greatest flexibility, and on the last one I did I cut my flaps smaller so I could use fun foam between the layers for extra "lift."
