It's beautiful here to-day so the beach/sand theme for the challenge was perfect. I chose to use sandpaper torn at the edge to serve as my beach. Next month my stamp group has to use one of these umbrellas on a card or 3-D project so this will be my entry. I would much rather use it to garnish my drink but rules are rules..I guess! LOL The sentiment is computer generated and mounted on a piece of sparkly construction paper scrap. I dug out the starfish and shell from an obscure drawer in my desk..who knew they were even there!! and the fabric is borrowed?? from one of Mr Noofy's shop towels. Mum's the word on that one okay..the less said the better!!

I promise not to tell Mr. Noofy anything you say on SCS! Hee Hee!!! Cute little scene with the bright umbrella, and did you use some of Mr. Noofy's sandpaper too? Oh, I just hope he doesn't get into your good towels..... Ugh! Love the shell and starfish; really nice 3-D card, Sue~

Fun use of the real (sort of) parasol. I'd rather have it in my drink too - but then here it rarely gets sunny enough to need one on the beach. And then it's probably too windy anyway. Your sandpaper sand looks just great. I think I'm going to have to make another card for this because I've just spotted some flip-flop stickers someone sent me, and they're calling out for a sandy background like this. I really like the way you've layered it to give the effect of the tide going out.

Love all the texture in this. The paper umbrella is such a fun element -- I never would have thought of putting one on a card. Sadly, it's been a long time since I had a drink with an umbrella in it.

Sue, this is FABULOUS. I enjoyed taking in all your details...the shop towel teeny beach towel especially. : ) The cocktail umbrella is perfect and a touch of fun.
