I paper pieced the box, and cat and then die cut the balloon. Since the rest of the image had the black outline, I outlined the balloon also. As I assembled the pieces the hardest part was attaching the floss to the balloon and that cat's paws. I used mulit-medium matte as my adhesive for this and it worked great (a Jennifer McGuire tip)! I popped up the balloon to give it a little dimension and then "grounded" the box with a bit of copic coloring. Cut a strip of pp for the border to pull it all together.

This is too cute for words! I found your card on Pinterest when I did a search for ideas for this SSS kitty stamp set. The paper piecing is so fun (and nicely done!), and the kitty holding the string for the balloon totally makes this card. Tfs this delightful creation!
