I wanted to feature the Carrick Bend knot on this for the challenge today so I created the side of an old time sailing ship. So it is quite masculine and yet the anchor always reminds me of this verse in the Bible about an anchor so it became a Sympathy card. I computer generated the verse, sponged it and framed it with the hexagon.

Awesome knot. I picked up a book on knot tying at a yard sale and will have to see if this is in it; your knot is far more advanced than any I've done, so I am quite impressed.
