Three hours later I had a scene that I really liked. I just could not get my snow banks to work out, so I ended up making a body of water. I need to practice much more to try for the snow bank effect.
Thank you again Nancy for sharing your gorgeous gallery filled with creative cards and so many awesome techniques. You sure do not shy away from a challenge my friend!
Thank you also Nancy for your encouraging and thoughtful comments on our galleries. You are so deserving to be Queen Nancy and not just for a week :-) Hugs, nancy (me)

What a lovely water colored scene. I thought your trees and sky turned out beautifully and I LIKED that you changed the snow to the body of water! I am impressed with your piece today because I know how hard it is to get this medium to turn out as beautiful as this! Great job...

Beautiful watercolored scene Nancy ... and a lovely tribute to the other Nancy Both of your cards are outstanding ... watercoloring is very challenging, if you ask me!
Love that you've improvised and changed it to trees by a lake ... it's really beautiful.

I knew exactly which card of Nancy's you had chosen. Your watercoloring is fabulous! Snow or lake..it doesn't matter, this is a gorgeous outdoor scene!

Oh, wow, this is beautiful! I swear I will make peace with watercolors someday - and hope to be able to make something so lovely!
