Hi everyone,
I made something like this a couple months ago but it seemed perfect for the sand challenge. I made my sand as described below in "technique" and glued it to my card. I made the sunset colors reflect in the ocean waves because my DH and I saw that on one of our Anniversary trips. The waves have Diamond Dust and Stickles on them. The shells and star fish are real. The sea grass is curled green vellum.
Thanks for looking!

Right into favorites! Holy Moly! What a beautiful work of art and it should be framed, Robin! Not only is your work amazing, it's detailed and well thought out. It's mind boggling that you do this almost on a daily basis!

Wow! Your scene is so beautiful! You have created so much depth and it looks like I could just reach in and get my hand wet. Love the vellum grass too. I agree that it should be framed. Popped it into my favourites :-)

Robin, I love how you captured the sunset in the waves...such a gift to be able to do that! Love the realism you have brought to your scene with the shells and starfish being from the ocean! Such a profound and TRUE sentiment...Thank you for sharing this beauty with us!
