This VSN challenge made me think of the first time I went camping. I remember looking up in a tree and seeing an owl. I was warm and toasty by the fire, and really, really impressed with seeing a real live owl for the first time! My owl is definitely the warm colors of a fire...with precious memories.
Enjoy!

We usually hear owls when we camp, but I've never seen them. Lucky you to see one! Love your card. Perfect way to interpret the challenge. Thanks for playing along with my challenge!

I love all the detail in the leaves on your tree and the owl is too cute. Nice take on the challenge.

When I saw this card it sure did make me smile and remember those pleasant days around a campfire! I LOVE that owl in felt and the stitching as feathers! Audrie, this is fabulous, creative and fun!

Wow - very nice! My first experience with owls was when one hit the windshield of one of our buses on band tour. I thought they were small.....they're huge and make quite an "impression" on a windshield!

Audrie -this is just so lovely!! I'd love to see a live owl in the wild as opposed to captivity. The warm fire colours in your owl are fabulous. Thanks for sharing the memories too.
