This card is for the CC481 to usr slate, strawberry and saffron..I used copics that were close. It is also for the CAS275 to make flat, stackable cards. One sugestion was to make note cards which made me think of a note pad that my mom made me when I was 25...that was 30 years ago. My mom died suddenly in her sleep 16 years ago...she was only 75. She was an amazing and talented woman. One of her talents was caligraphy...not picking a font and having the computer spit it out, but hand drawn, pen and ink, one letter at a time caligraphy. The caligraphy on the top of this card was from the note pad she made me. I printed it onto white cardstock, added a stamp with a music theme and colored with copics. I have never used my notes from my mom because I could only part with 2 pages (one for each of my sons). Now when I want a note card I can make a color copy. Making this card reminded me of all the times my mom and I did things together. Boy was I lucky to have such wonderful parents.

Francie this is so pretty and I'm touched by the story behind your notecards. What a wonderfully creative idea to make these cards using part of your mom's calligraphy and then photo copying them for later use so you'll still have the original. I love both versions! What a marvelous remembrance

This is so beautiful and the beauty of your remembrance and love for your mother is so evident. You have her talents too, maybe not the calligraphy but the eye for beauty. And you probably could do calligraphy too. Anyway... this is gorgeous and I would not want to part with it either.

I like this card even better than the last one. The design at the bottom is so beautifully colored, and I'll bet you doodled that interesting border all around, didn't you? Such a lovely card!
