This card is for the Use your stash challenge: F4A223
I am hopelessly addicted to patterned paper. I have way more than any one person could use, yet still have another pack on my wish list. So this was a perfect challenge for me.
Cut and glued on the dsp strips, embossed a separate piece of cs, then cut it and glued to card front. Die cut the words, and butterfly parts. I put dimensional adhesive under the tip of the wings so that when the card is in an envelope the wings will still keep some dimension. Oh, and I die cut 3 "happy"s so that I can stack them for more dimension. Love how this turned out. You just can't lose with this butterfly die!

Pretty card, great use of your patterned paper. Yes, I can share in the addiction to all those pretty patterned papers calling out to us to stash away way more than we will ever use.

What a fabulous design using texture and pattern - I have a huge stash of dp's, and have more than one pad on my wish list! I've kind of gone through a period of using them less with watercoloring and stencils, but I'll never give up my love affair with dp! I love these colours too!
I love your choices for this card - it's gorgeous! I have that "happy" die also - it's perfect for stacking, isn't it? I also have the "birthday" die; you've provided great inspiration. Looks like a CASE is in my future. Into my favorites!
