When I saw these butterflies, they reminded me of the Haida indians living on BC's coast. Their ceremonial robes are red and black and the designs are done in white buttons. The totems are actually red and black and white with turquoise accents. But they were too colourful, so I reverted to B/W. The colour totems are on the back. Haidi Gwaii, which are a group of Islands off the coast, means Islands of the People.
