Hello friends! This is to honor this week's Queeen, none other than Ann aka Dockside. I have long admired Ann's talent and had fun looking and lingering in her awesome gallery.
In the end, I chose her "Dreaming of Spring" card to case, but instead of fall, I decided to make it spring!
Anyway... Instead of leaves in the background, I stamped off some of the Foxglove image (a sneak peek at a set being released June 1 at ODBD) to create my own background, and then stamped one image in Memento, colored with Copics and cut out. I added a Darice embossed panel which I just ran my ink pad over to bring out the design a bit, and my sentiment, while placed in the same spot, is layered on 2 ODBD dies: The fancy outter label is from Vintage Floral Pattern die set, and the white layer the sentiment is stamped on is from the Ornate Borders and Flowers die set from previous releases. The sentiment itself is from another soon to be released set called Rose Bouquet.
Congratulations Ann! You are a queen in every way and well deserve this honor! Enjoy your reign!!!
Thanks for looking! I will try to be back tonight to leave you all some love!

I love your stamped background! This green and pink colour combination is one of my favourites. On top of that Foxgloves are one of my favourite flowers. I won't tell you how many of them I have killed over the years trying to achieve an English Country Garden in a decidedly non English climate. :-) Your colouring of that flower spike is perfect! Thank you so much for helping make this day so special. I really appreciate it!

Grace, your work is always awe inspiring. Thanks for the peeks at the new things from ODBD. Love that pretty die cut label as well. Thanks for your sweet comment on my card.
