A wonderful coincidence - I was reading my new issue of Take Ten magazine, yesterday and it always comes with some free dp inside it. It happened to have feathers on it and then there was the Ways to Use It challenge this morning to depict feathers in some way! Perfect timing as I have no feather stamps nor any other feather dp. It made for a very quick and simple card - the feathered dp for a background, a simple stamping of a feathered bird from Nature walk with a sentiment, and then die cut and popped up on dimensionals. And I need a thank you card too!

Susan, this is such a beautifully designed card. Love how you did the bg and the bird image itself is so sweet. The monochromatic palette makes it all the more striking. Well done.

I love that sort of serendipity! I'm sure your bird on its own would have counted for feathers - but the vintage look feather dp makes a fab setting for it.
