This card is for three challenges. That's a first for me I think! :-) The colour challenge is from 2 weeks ago and was Karen's 'Really Old Daffodils'. I water coloured paper with the 3 colours and cut out the poppies. Then I didn't do anything with it until today. The yellow got overwhelmed by the red and green a little so the frame is my Daffodil Delight. The CAS challenge this week is May flowers and my poppy works for that. I used this week's sketch from Janette (blessingsX3) to put it all together. One of the panels has been replaced by the sentiment banner. I don't do sympathy cards well so this is for the stash and a hope I don't need to use it.

This is lovely. I really like how you added the basket weave panel. The red flowers really pop. I think the sponging on the sentiment is such a great touch.
This is a perfect sympathy card. I hope you don't have to use it too. I had to use 2 this month. Never a happy thing to do, so it's nice to have some in your stash.

Love all the white pieces embossed. There is just something about white embossed paper that screams elegance to me. I love everything about this lovely card and how nicely that little sentiment banner is done.

I agree about sympathy cards, and hope you don't need to use it. But if you do, it is a really lovely card. The two white patterns go so well together, and your poppy and frame are just perfect.
