While these are not my “go to” colors, I chose one of the shabby chic photos for this week’s ODBD Shining the Light challenge. It’s my feeble attempt at shabby chic, but I actually enjoyed trying (you can see the inspiration photos and see for yourself). I was inspired by the beautiful antique fireplace fence and used the Quarterfoil Pattern die and used one of the verses from God’s Love, along with the Lilac, which I added dimension and popped. Both the lavender matting and the seam binding are colored with a Copic marker. Hope you like it!
Accessories: Copic markers, Elegant Oval Dies and Quatrefoil Pattern Die (ODBD), Perfect Layers tool, seam binding and matted paper dyed with Copic marker V25, Glue Dots, red tape

A beautiful message surrounded by your beautiful flowers. Love the textures and colors you used for this, Cheryl. I cannot think of a better way to glorify God than with your awesome talents.

Cheryl, this card is a show stopper !!! I love every inch of it, especially that quatrefoil die and the beautiful blossoms. And then there is the verse and the perfectly dyed ribbon alongside the beautiful layers. Sounds like I just love it all. And that's the truth. !
