My sister Gael just had double knee replacement surgery so this card is to cheer her up. The oval in the middle is the faux torn mosaic. DSP torn into pieces then edges sponged with distress ink and adhered with modge podge. The whole thing is also painted with modge podge to flatten it down. The poppy is cut with the framelits, shaped with the garden tools, and added the pan pastels for interest (the darker inner part of the poppy). Flower soft added to the stamen. The middle is done with a paper pen and then added the lines with a white gel pen.
TFL!

What a neat idea to make the bg stones like that. Love that flower! This card is sure to cheer up your sister -- hope she heals quickly. Ouch!
