I didn't get the chance to get painters tape before starting my project today. So I used my creativity. I used Microsoft excel to make my tile stencil. I printed it and cut it using an exacto knife. I then covered the "holes" with drywall tape. I place the stencil with the tape on my sheetmusic. I sponged ink over the top with purples and blues. I took excel and printed a second sheet and instead of cutting out the "tiles" I cut out the grout. I used silver inka gold and rubbed it over the stencil. It didn't really stand out so I took a sharpie marker and outlined the grout. I too the sharpie to mark "x" s in the intersecting lines. I added rhinestones on top of the x-s. I added the quilled roses, the keyboard and the dancer. I was inspired to make this card by my next door neighbor's little girl. She was dancing on the porch wearing a tutu when I came home last night. She was so cute.

This one is a beauty too! Great way to use the supplies you have on hand. The Inka Gold is a tricky product - I find I have to 'help' it with a marker sometimes, too. I love the little girl inspiration, and such a smart design on the easel card. Thanks so much for playing!
