Ally gave us a lovely sketch that was in a square format. I changed it to an A2 and in doing so made her circle into an oval for better proportions.
The oval was stamped with a backgrounder design using London Fog ink. I thought it was too strong and gave it a wash of gesso to tone it down. The rest is pretty straightforward.

Sallie, I love your mix of design, and the monochromatic color. I also love how you stamped your image on the dp. I must remember to do that from time to time. Lovely and subdued - perfect for a sympathy card.

Sallie, sympathy cards are the hardest of all to make in my book, and I love the changes you made to adjust it to the A2 size. I made mine an A2 also. Love those silhouetted leaves across that pretty pattern you used in the oval.
