My stash of Scripture cards is currently very low, so I put in some time during a gallery mod shift making another card for this week's F-L-O-W-E-R challenge at ODBD.
Base is white card edged with a gold leafing pen.
Next layer is watercolour paper stamped with the leaf from Randi's Song in Versamark, embossed with clear EP and washed with a green and golden brown H2O. I also embossed it with a feather ef, and wiped the edge lightly with ColorBox Harbor for definition.
For the main panel, I stamped the frame in Versamark and embossed with gold EP. Stamped the bird silhouette and verse in Versafine. Misted the card and added a watercolour wash and some "poppies" at the bottom with W&N watercolours. Trimmed it down, sponged the edges with more Harbor, added Stickles to the centres of the the little corner flowers in the frame, and popped it up on foam.
F - Flower Frames
W- Watercolor
E - Embossing (heat and dry)
R - resist techniques, Randi's Song

I really like your water coloured panel and the silhouette stamping! It looks gorgeous inside the 'gilt' frame. Your background panel blows me away. That's something I would put front and centre and you've used it as background. :-) I love the different techniques you've used for this card. Top drawer!
