I wanted to redo my technique from cards I made Tuesday with a two tone look in the corner so I could take some step by step photos for my blog. I started by cutting the three colors into 4x5 1/4" pieces. I laid my die on the first and die cut it, then used the reverse as a placement guide to cut the other two colors. Then I assemble the reverse corner of one color, the die cut of the 2nd color and adhere them to the base in the third color. I stamped my sentiment in Wisteria. I then embossed the whole piece in the square lattice ef for the inlaid embossed effect. This rather obliterated the sentiment and when I tried to over stamp, I was slightly misaligned so I ended up stamping a white piece and rounding two corners then glued that piece over my boo boo. Things looked a little out of balance so I then added the rhinestone trim piece.
*Here's the blog post if photos help you figure out the process.
