I've been dabbling in watercolors for a few months and love it! Years ago I water colored a lot and had forgotten how much fun it is! So I decided to try and use a stencil as a stamp. I laid down a stencil and took some Versa mark and 1st swiped it across the stencil to get a good coat on the stencil and then pounced it into the stencil as best as I could. I embossed the watercolor paper with Hero Arts White. The stencil is from Tim Holtz and I believe it's called speckles. I then water colored over the embossing with some bright distressed ink and colored in a piece about 6x12. After that was dry I cut out the balloons with Simon Says balloon dies. I really love the texture that the balloons have! The sentiment is from Winnie and Walter....my favorite big words stamp set called "The big and the Bold"!
