hope you all waited for me to join the pool party! Thanks Vicki for my favorite color combination...I don't have a pool in my backyard, but my kitchen and breakfast room is done in these exact colors! And I did cook up a delish card for someone sweet today.
And to Cathy, I love this sketch you challenged us with...though I took a bit of creative license with my circle element...I saw mounds of frosting on top of the cupcake I made for *eRiN*.
No stamps were inked in the creation of this card. I used paper from My Mind's Eye 'Soar' for the panels. The cupcake was cut from a cup I'd saved. A Cinnabon cup even...I loved the Tiffany blue color and their logo, "LIFE needs Frosting" Thought it would make a great card someday...and today's the day!
I loosely cut the shape of a cupcake from the cup, added a bit of German scrap that I embossed with black ep for the color I wanted across where there would be a paper liner...added the Tim Holtz rosette trims along the frosting edge...fluffy, pretty frosting.
The banner spells out *eRiN's* name and a pearl secures it to the card. a few sequins and it was done.
I am sending this off to sweeten her day...the job hunting has been less than encouraging. I know the right one for the time will come along, but it's hard be in that place of waiting and keeping your face turned up.
Thanks for stopping by and always, the sweet comments...a no calorie treat to me!!!

Fantastic card for your friend which is sure to be appreciated. Love the rosette muslin "ribbon" that indeed looks like rosette frosting edging on a cake.
What a scrumptious card. I usually stay away from eating anything in the shade of blue/green but this card made me hungry (for dessert that it).
