This is a vibrant watercolored background technique that I learned in my on-line w/c class, using ink, acrylic block and water mister.
I love these colors together. I wanted the background to be the star of the card, so added the cut "Happy Mother's Day" and frame - no other embellishments.

I went to your blog to look at this card. I am unable to see thumbnails right now. (Aggravating!) Anyway, I think I'm taking the same class but haven't tried anything yet. Your card is gorgeous! Love the vibrant colors.

I had to laugh at you digging through your garbage can to salvage. Sometimes, in the light of a different day, what we were frustrated with....isn't so bad. At any rate, THIS IS GORGOUS! Love the intensity of the colors you achieved and I am so liking the images you are cutting from your Silhouette! I love the simple beauty and elegance of this card!
