My CC card, using black, white and blue, is for my dear friend Kris. I met her on-line about eight yrs ago and we've been corresponding by email and phone, ever since. She has a heart of gold and despite going through many hard times that life has brought her, she has been a good friend to me. For the first time in 2-3 yrs, things are looking up for her and I am so glad of that.
My card is also to honor Jeannie (Jeannie1862), this week's FS378. I was inspired by this card. I kept the black, white and blue color theme. My blue dot bkgrd is watercolor stamped, not embossed. I made a floral panel instead of a b.d. cake panel. I left off the ribbon and brads. I tried b+w twine but it didn't add anything to my card so I didn't use it. I used one stamped heart instead of the three brads.
I was also inspired by this b+w potholder at World Market, our IC439 inspiration site. I stamped a b+w floral panel for my card and instead of pink, I opted for blue as my accent color.
THANKS for looking!

I love the image with the script!! Your embossed bg looks great with this too. I bet your friend will love this card and be so happy that you sent it to her.
Very nice card for your dear friend. I am sure she will be delighted with it.

Love the simple black and white colors you did with the flowers. Most would be anxious to put some color in there but this works fabulously! Great card!
