It's a family story. When I was a very little girl, it was customary to wear a corsage on Mothers' Day. The flowers were to be red if the mother was living, white if she'd died. My mother would purchase a red one for me to wear, but hers would be red and white. Mom figured that, even though my grandmother had passed away, she was still close, in Mom's heart, and living-- in heaven. So. This card is red and white.

Brenda, it was the same for us growing up. Your card is so beautiful with the heart shaped bouquet of roses and the wonderful die cut script word mother! So simple so ELEGANT!
